Each election season, the CGMC provides background information to help candidates become familiar with issues affecting Greater Minnesota communities. We send this information to every candidate running for Minnesota House of Representatives and Senate. The CGMC does not endorse candidates running for political office, but we believe that it is important for candidates to know about the issues that are important to Greater Minnesota cities.
That being said, the CGMC’s 2024 Candidate Packet is officially here! The packet has been sent to candidates to provide information about several key issues: the state budget, property taxes & LGA, economic development, housing, environment, transportation, annexation & land use, and emergency medical services (EMS).
