Earlier this week, Governor Walz announced that he was appointing Cokato City Councilor Kevin Wilson to the Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) as a representative of cities in Greater Minnesota. The BWSR is the state soil and water conservation agency charged with helping meet Minnesota’s goals for clean water, clean air, and abundant fish and wildlife. The agency consists of 20 members appointed by the Governor.

Kevin’s civic and professional background make him well-suited for this role. In addition to his service on the Cokato City Council and on the CGMC Board, he worked for the Corps of Engineers for years on water-related projects.

Congratulations, Kevin!
