From all of us at the CGMC, we want to express a sincere thank you to our member cities and all the city leaders who have worked tirelessly during this challenging year. Your advocacy and continued support for the CGMC helped us achieve several successes at the Legislature this year, including the equitable distribution of CARES Act funds to local governments across the state, passage of a historic bonding bill that funds dozens of important projects in Greater Minnesota, and the creation of new grant programs to help struggling businesses and child care providers.
There is no doubt that more challenges await us in the future, but if 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that folks in Greater Minnesota are a resilient bunch. By continuing to work together, we can find solutions to any obstacles that stand in our way.
