The CGMC is partnering with Minnesotans for the American Community Survey and the 2030 Census (MACS), Wilder, and others across Minnesota to host a webinar discussing how proposed changes to the 2030 Census could affect our state. Prompted by the Census Bureau’s recent proposal outlining major revisions to core elements of the U.S. Census, this event aims to educate attendees on potential new residency rules, demographic rules, and other impacts. With public comments on this proposal due October 13, this webinar will help you understand the proposal and make your voice heard.
So, make sure to join us for the webinar at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 6, to hear from experts and community voices on how these changes would affect data accuracy, funding, representation, and Minnesota communities. Register using the button below to receive event details and the Zoom link.
