We are happy to announce that the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities has now a new logo and a completely redesigned website! The redesign project — a collaborative effort between the CGMC board of directors, CGMC staff and Lime Valley, an advertising and design firm located in Mankato — has been months in the making and we are excited to finally unveil the final products.

New logo highlights CGMC’s mission, goals
Our new logo visually depicts key issues to connect the audience with the work of the CGMC. The colors, fonts and interlocking shapes are that of an energetic, collaborative organization that is dedicated to Greater Minnesota cities.

New & improved website

We hope you find our completely redesigned website informational, useful and easy to navigate. This new design incorporates the visual identity from the logo as well as a vibrant color scheme. More photographs, illustrations and expanded content help users better understand the key issues that the CGMC works on. A new navigation system is easy to use and presents information in a logical flow. It contains both current and archived news articles and press releases with a search feature to locate topics quickly.

New functionality on the website includes ADA compatibility for visually impaired audiences and responsive programming for mobile viewing. A new secure e-commerce system allows online registration for events and is linked to a calendar allowing members to look ahead at the year’s activities. Viewers can also view a state map showing all 100 coalition members spanning all of Greater Minnesota. A social media feed on the main page allows visitors to view the CGMC Twitter and Facebook posts without having to leave the site or have personal social media accounts.

We are excited about this rebranding and website redesign and look forward to having a logo and online presence that matches the CGMC’s energy and effectiveness. If you have any questions about the CGMC logo or website, please contact Julie Liew at jlliew@flaherty-hood.com.
